The Boston College Eagles completed a regular season to forget Saturday with an 66-50 loss to Clemson.
With the loss, the Eagles finished winless in the conference. Coupled with a winless conference slate by the football team, Boston College has become the first major program to go winless in conference play in both football and men's basketball since World War II.
Jerome Robinson led the way for the Eagles with 18 points, but partially due to an eight-plus minute scoring drought in the second half, and a 2-for-11 performance by leading scorer Eli Carter, the Eagles were not competitive through much of the game.
The Eagles shot 19% from behind the arc, stymieing any chance at a comeback for the Eagles.
The Eagles next game will be in Washington, D.C. at the ACC Tournament. The Eagles will be the No. 14 seed in the tournament due to Louisville's postseason ban. First game will be on Tuesday, March 8.
