ACC Tournament Bracket Update: Boston College Will Be No. 14 Seed

Early matchups are set

Gregory Fisher-USA TODAY Sports

As the Boston College Eagles, and the Atlantic Coast Conference, approach the final games of the regular season, the ACC tournament bracket has begun to take shape.

With an 0-16 record, the Eagles have firmed up the fourteenth seed in the ACC Tournament. The tournament will comprise of fourteen teams due to the Louisville Cardinals' self-imposed playoff ban.

The Eagles will play the No. 11 team in the conference in the first round of the ACC tournament. As it stands right now, the No. 11 team in the conference is the Florida State Seminoles with a 7-10 conference record. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, however, own a 7-9 record. If the Yellow Jackets win either of their next two games against AP No. 11 Louisville and Pittsburgh, or if the Seminoles lose their remaining game against Syracuse, the Yellow Jackets will clinch the No. 10 seed, who will have a bye in the tournament.

The Eagles have two remaining games against N.C. State and Clemson.
