Boston College delivered a Festivus Miracle on Friday at Conte Forum, riding a remarkable 25-2 run in the second half to a 79-67 win over a very solid Providence College team, giving Jim Christian one of his best wins to date as BC head coach.
BC saw much of their late 20 point lead fizzle in a wild minute in the final five, but recovered from that stumble to lock down the victory. BC finishes the nonconference slate above .500 and now gets ready for the long slog of ACC play, starting with Syracuse on New Year’s Day at Conte. Perhaps there is hope.
