How Did Sacred Heart Do Last Time Out?
Things to Look Out For With Sacred Heart:
- Don’t Get Caught Up In the Moment: Look, Monday was really great. It was a fantastic step forward for the program. With that said, the only way the program can keep moving forward is if the Eagles keep the wins coming. It’s easy to get caught up in the situation, but Sunday afternoon needs to be business as usual.
- Don’t Take The Game For Granted: The players on this team are the last people that need to be told to take every game seriously. After all, the games against Nicholls State and Hartford were things that happened. That said, this team has had a history of appearing to overlook games. Getting in ACC shape is important at this juncture, so if the Eagles aren’t worried about Sacred Heart (and they only have an 18% chance of losing to the Pioneers according to Kenpom, so it’s not unreasonable to think that), perhaps that’s what gets the birds going.
- One-Man-Band: Quincy McKnight is easily Sacred Heart’s best scorer. Neutralizing him will be key for the Eagles.
