Boston College picked up a much needed win against the Auburn Tigers Monday night, winning 72-71 off of a Nik Popovic game winning tip in. Coming off one of the worst losses in program history, Jim Christian and the Eagles faced a tough match up against BC alumnus Bruce Pearl. Jerome Robinson led the Eagles with 23 points, while Danjel Purifoy scored a career high 27 points for the Tigers. Boston College will get a much needed rest, with their next game coming against Sacred Heart on Sunday, December 18th at home.
