RECAP: Boston College Basketball Stunned by Nicholls State 79-73

At 7:05 PM EST, Nicholls State won the tip to start Friday night’s game against the Boston College Eagles. Four seconds later, Jonathan Bell scored on a layup.

From that point on, Nicholls State did not trail, only letting the game get as close as a tie late in the second half.

On the flip side, the Boston College Eagles did not lead at any point in Friday night’s game, and the Eagles, in a game labeled by many as a tuneup game, were stunned by a team picked to finish last in the Southland Conference 79-73 in front of a sparse crowd of 3,122 in Chestnut Hill.

DeAndre Harris torched the Eagles for 28 points. Meanwhile, a visually sloppy first half by the Eagles doomed a second half comeback attempt.

This was really bad. There’s no way to say otherwise.
