With a new season, and a new look team, the Boston College Eagles men’s basketball team has new uniforms.

The new uniforms were teased out during the ACC media day by Jerome Robinson and A.J. Turner.
The main change for the uniforms is in the lettering placement on the front of the jerseys. In the previous iteration of the BC uniform, the words “Boston College” were placed on a straight line, in regular font. In this newest iteration, the two words in the phrase are above and below the number at the front of the jersey.
The new uniforms harken back to similar designs from older uniform designs, evidenced by these two photos from older times in BC basketball history.

We here at BC Interruption are big fans of all things old school (evidenced by our love of using old Getty photos for Final Thoughts and Predictions during basketball season), and these new uniforms are no exception. A round of applause to the uniform designers involved.
