Jim Christian is just about to take the podium at ACC Media Day. Christian is entering his third year at the helm of the Boston College Eagles basketball program. In Christian’s previous two seasons, Christian’s teams went 20-44 overall and 4-32 in ACC play. Christian was also at the helm for the Eagles much maligned 2015-16 season when the program went 0-18 in conference play.
Christian now has a slightly older team, as his largely freshmen based team is now a year older, with some transfers amongst the freshmen. The Eagles look to turn the tables on last year and hope to pick up their first win in conference since defeating Wake Forest 79-61 on Saturday, March 7th, 2015 in Chestnut Hill. If the Eagles do turn the tables, it will be with a completely different team, as leading scorers from that game Olivier Hanlan, Patrick Heckmann and Aaron Brown have since left the program.
