Boston College basketball needs all the help it can get at this point. One of the few bright points of this off season was the hope that BC could land some graduate transfers to come in immediately and fill in some of the experience gaps on the roster. Recently the Eagles were linked with Florida guard Eli Carter. Well cross his name off your list
Florida transfer Eli Carter told @CBSSports he will not visit BC. Recently visited both Georgetown and UNLV. Immediately eligible.

Carter averaged 8 points, along with two assists and rebounds per game for the Gators in 2014-15. With the gutting of BC's back court with the losses of Olivier Hanlan, and Lonnie Jackson along with the graduations of Patrick Heckmann and Dimitri Batten, Carter would have been a huge get. Any stability the Eagles could have added the backcourt would have been huge for a team that is going to be trotting out a lot of young faces next season.
This clearly isn't the be all end all for Boston College. This year there are a ton of experienced graduate transfers looking for playing time, something BC can offer up front. I'm sure the Eagles will land a few, too bad it won't be Carter, he would have looked great in the maroon and gold.
