Boston College 66, Virginia Tech 59: Video Highlights

Hot off the presses from BC's third conference victory

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

We're going streaking! The Boston College men's basketball team roared to a 22-point lead in the second period and held off a late Virginia Tech run to defeat the Hokies 66-59, giving BC their first back-to-back wins since December. Dimitri Batten had one of his best games of the season, putting up 18 points, and Olivier Hanlan was very good again, adding another 15 for the maroon and gold. The win improved Boston College to 11-18 overall and 3-14 in the ACC, with one game to go in the regular season on Saturday against Wake Forest.

The victory lifts BC out of a tie for last place in the ACC and guarantees they will not finish in the cellar. Brian breaks down the ACC tournament picture here. Check out the highlights below and enjoy a look back at last night's win. Let's hope they can put together a couple more before the season ends and lay down a solid foundation for next year.
