NCAA March Madness 2015: Sweet 16 Open Thread, Day One

Regardless if your bracket is dead or not, we're one weekend away from seeing who dances in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium.

If you're like me, your bracket was busted beyond belief last weekend, potentially before you even sat down to watch some of the annual March Madness men's basketball tournament (thanks a lot Iowa State and Baylor).

If you're like me, you're still looking forward to this weekend. Over the next four days, the field of 68—already whittled down to the Sweet Sixteen—will produce four teams hoping to ride momentum into Indianapolis for a chance to win the national championship.

Where our first weekend included 12 or more hours of basketball goodness, it's time to get serious. With the Final Four in reach, we'll have four games per day on Thursday and Friday, all in primetime or later, to advance to the end of the weekend. It will also tell us if Cinderella is still at the ball or if the clock is striking 12 for those wearing the glass slipper.

Thursday kicks off with the ACC Champion Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Arguably one of the strongest teams remaining in the pool, Pat Connaughton's block against Butler staved off a one way trip to Upset City. Now Notre Dame takes on another bid from a mid-major power when they take on seventh-seeded Wichita State. Roughly a half hour later, Wisconsin plays North Carolina in the first real powerhouse matchup of the Regional Semifinal round.

Those games serve as the appetizer for the next stop in the Bid For Perfection. Undefeated Kentucky plays West Virginia in what could amount to the Wildcats' toughest test so far, with Xavier and Arizona bringing up the nightcap at 10:17.

Where yesterday was spread across multiple networks (including the annual rite of passage of finding TruTV within your cable box), all of the games are exclusively on CBS and TBS.

Here's the full schedule in an easy to read table format:

Thursday, March 26, 2015 Time (ET) TV
(3) Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. (7) Wichita State Shockers 7:15 PM CBS
(1) Wisconsin Badgers vs. (4) North Carolina Tar Heels 7:47 PM TBS
