Perhaps the easiest player of the week award decision of the season for the ACC. Via bceagles.com:

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Junior guard Olivier Hanlan was named ACC Player of the Week after averaging 31.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in two games last week.

Hanlan shot .548 (17-for-31) from the field, .500 (8-for-16) from beyond the arc and .955 (21-for-22) from the free throw line as Boston College went 1-1.

He scored a season-high 39 points at Pittsburgh, going 10-for-20 from the field and hitting all 14 of his free throw attempts. It was the most points scored in the ACC this season (12th most in the nation) and it was his fourth 30-point game in six outings.

The Aylmer, Quebec product followed that up by posting 24 points, eight rebounds and three assists in a 79-63 win over NC State on Saturday. He was 7-for-11 in that game, 3-for-4 from beyond the arc and 7-for-8 from the charity stripe.

In ACC play, Hanlan leads the league in scoring (22.6), 3-pointers made (3.00) and 3-point percentage (.457), and ranks fourth in free throw percentage (.831) and seventh in field goal percentage (.485).

Hanlan isn't going to win ACC Player of the Year, but sounds like being left off the ACC All-First Team is still in play for the junior for Quebec—as ridiculous as that may sound.

ACC Canadians made it a clean sweep of this week's awards, as Florida State's Xavier Rathan-Mayes (Scarborough, Ontario) took home ACC Rookie of the Week honors. Here are this season's ACC Players of the Week so far:
