Boston College 79, N.C. State 63: Videos, Highlights

This is not a drill.

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

The Boston College Eagles men's basketball team defeated a pretty good N.C. State team, at home, by 16. This is not a drill.

Here are the videos to prove it.

Hanlan, once again, led BC with 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists, lifting BC to their second ACC victory of the year. The Eagles are now 10-18 overall, and 2-14 in conference play. The win was the first home victory in conference play this season for the Eagles. Before yesterday's game, BC was the only ACC club in the conference that had yet to notch a home victory.

After the game, Jason Capel caught up with Hanlan, who had some high praise for his teammates Dennis Clifford and Aaron Brown ("AB" I like that), as well as Heckmann and his career-high seven assists.

Quick turnaround for BC, which travels to Blacksburg for a Monday night 9 p.m. tilt against Virginia Tech. The Hokies put up a good fight against #2 Virginia, but ultimately fell short in a 69-57 loss to the Cavaliers. Adam Smith led the Hokies with 19 points.
