Scoreboard Watching / Out of Town Notes
Tonight's N.C. State at North Carolina game is of mild intrigue (8:00 p.m., ESPN3) as the Pack are BC's next opponent. Same for Virginia Tech, which has a brutal week with games vs. Duke (Wednesday 9 p.m., ESPN2) and at Virginia (Saturday 4 p.m. ESPN3).

Random Factoids
Having been a member of the ACC for a decade now, the program has acclimated itself to playing in nearly all the arenas in the conference. That's not the case for Pitt's Petersen Events Center. Tonight's game will be the first time that the Eagles have played in Pittsburgh since the 2003-04 season, and it is just their second time ever playing at the Pete.
Dot Dot Dot
I suppose much of this can't be helped, but how odd is it that a program can play two games each against four different conference opponents before playing a single game against three of the league's 14 other teams? That's exactly what BC will do down the stretch when they finish the year with their first and only games against N.C. State, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest -- three of the weaker programs in the league this year.
Welcome to the expanded ACC.
BCI Predictions
With four regular season games to play, Grant maintains a slight 1-win edge over Boston College, 10 to 9. hoya extends his lead to 2 points over myself and Coach.
