Much like the Pitt home game before it, Boston College had numerous opportunities to close out the Hurricanes but couldn't, eventually falling to Miami, 89-86, in double overtime. Here are the videos to prove it.
Following a 21-hour delay due to snow, Miami needed two overtime periods to finally come away with a victory over Boston College in Chestnut Hill. Sheldon McClellan scored 24 points for the Hurricanes as they pull back to .500 (6-6 record) in ACC play. Eagles' junior Olivier Hanlan scored a game-high 32 points in the 89-86 loss.
While he had a fairly quiet night overall—26 minutes, 4 points—sophomore Garland Owens did provide this highlight reel dunk off the Olivier Hanlan miss.
Boston College is back in action on Wednesday night as they take on the Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee. The Seminoles are coming off a 57-53 victory over Georgia Tech. Xavier Rathan-Mayes scored 20 points and collected 6 rebounds to help lead the Seminoles to victory over the weekend.
