The Boston College men's basketball team improved to 2-0 with a comfortable win over Central Connecticut State last night at Conte Forum. Once again, the video highlight reel contains a lot of Eli Carter and Jerome Robinson. For the second time in as many games, Robinson had an impressive highlight dunk, slamming one home with authority in the first half.
Eli Carter led the Eagles in both points (18) and assists (5), while BC's leading rebounder was Dennis Clifford with 9. BC returns to action on Sunday afternoon against Harvard, a 12:30 tipoff on ESPNU. After a pair of games against cupcake opponents to start the season, the Crimson will be the Eagles' stiffest test so far.
Check out the highlights from last night's game below, courtesy of BCEagles.com. While it's only been two games against lower tier opponents, the athleticism and teamwork of Jim Christian's current crop of Eagles stands out. It's early, but there's reason to be excited about this group.
