Jon Rothstein of CBSSports.com has reported that Boston College will join Kansas State, Richmond and Maryland in the 2016 Barclays Classic, held at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Maryland, Boston College, Kansas State, and Richmond will headline the 2016 Barclays Classic, sources told @CBSSports. Matchups are TBD.

The preseason tournament is typically held in late November. This year's tournament is being held Nov. 28-29, featuring ACC power Virginia, alongside the SEC's Vanderbilt, the Big Ten's Rutgers and the Atlantic 10's La Salle.
The tournament is the latest addition to the Eagles' future at the Barclays Center. BC will take on the Fordham Rams at the arena on Dec. 22. In addition, the 2016-17 season is the first season of the Atlantic Coast Conference's deal with the Barclays Center to host the conference's basketball tournament. In total, the Eagles have three upcoming commitments in Brooklyn.
