Boston College Basketball Recruiting: PF Jeremy Miller Commits To The Eagles

We are getting new people!

Rich Barnes

What a difference a game makes.

Fresh off the program's third upset over a #1 team, the Boston College basketball team landed its first commitment for the 2015 class in New Hampton Prep (N.H.) power forward Jeremy Miller.

The 6-foot-9, 215 pound power forward chooses Boston College over claimed offers from Connecticut, Florida State, Maryland and Providence. Miller is regarded as a four-star recruit per both Rivals and ESPN and a three-star per Scout and 247. He's rated as the 94th best recruit in the 2015 class by Rivals. Jeremy follows former New Hampton Prep star Olivier Hanlan to the Heights.

Miller is the first commit for the 2015 recruiting class and an enormous pickup for Donahue and the staff. In 2015, the program will need to replace at least six scholarship players once Anderson, Caudill, Dragicevich, Odio, Jackson and Heckmann all graduate. The addition of Miller will help fill the hole left by Anderson at the four and add some much needed height to the Eagles' roster. Beating out a pair of conference and local recruiting rivals is icing on the cake.
