There may be over seven feet of snow in Chestnut Hill, but recruiting news could be hot this weekend as the Eagles will be hosting their annual Junior Day inside the Alumni Stadium bubble. According to 247Sports, BC will have a plethora of names in attendance, including some major targets.
Let's take a look at some of the juniors that will be heading to Boston College this weekend:
Patrice Rene: An elite cornerback from Virginia (4* on both 247 and Rivals), he already has offers from Ohio State, Penn State, Syracuse, Tennessee, Duke, Virginia Tech and Rutgers.
Jess Meyler: An offensive tackle from the same high school as Rene, he doesn't currently hold a BC offer. Also has offers from Connecticut and a bunch of other mid major schools.
Tyree Rodgers: Plays wide receiver at Camden Catholic in New Jersey. A three star WR, Rodgers does not have an offer from the Eagles yet and in fact only holds an offer from Temple.
Noah Ellison: Another wide receiver from New Jersey, Ellison recently received his offer from the Eagles. He currently does not have a ranking on 247.
Tyreek Williams: An outside linebacker from NJ, and teammate of Ellison. He currently does not have a ranking, or an offer from the Eagles. He does however hold an offer from Temple.
Scooter Harrington: A linebacker from Connecticut, he is considered the #2 recruit in the state, and one of the most sought-after tight ends in the country. He's a legacy, with both of his parents attending (his dad Scott was a captain during the magical Doug Flutie year). He's not a slam dunk for the Eagles, though, as he also has offers from Connecticut, Rutgers, Wake Forest, Virginia, N.C. State and Pittsburgh.
Isaiah Wright: A teammate of Scooter, he holds a BC offer along with most of the Northeast, along with Syracuse, UMass and Rutgers. He also has an offer from Ohio State. He's considered a 3* Athlete.
Koby Quansah: An inside linebacker from Connecticut, he's been a hot commodity on the recruiting trail recently, earning offers from Wisconsin and Michigan. He's a 4* that Addazio has targeted for a while, offered back in August. He's going to be a tough get, but would be a great centerpiece for the Eagles.
Jacob Morgenstern: A 3* outside linebacker from St. Luke will also be in attendance. He holds offers from Pittsburgh, Wisconsin, Syracuse and Connecticut.
Jay Rose: A tight end from New Calnan, Connecticut will also attend.
Sean Ragan: Another BC legacy, Sean's father John played for the Eagles from 1987-90. He plays offensive tackle at St. John's Prep in Danvers under former BC head coach Brian St. Pierre. He currently does not claim an offer from Boston College, but that could change soon.
Keep an eye on BCI—we'll be posting if we hear of any commitments. Go Eagles!
