New, comments

Jim Christian and the Eagles new coaching staff are rolling, securing their second 2015 verbal commit of the week in 6-foot-5 guard Jerome Robinson.

USA TODAY Sports

The week is only a few days old and Jim Christian and the Boston College men's basketball staff have already landed their second verbal commitment for 2015. According to Eagle Action's Eric Hoffses, North Carolina guard Jerome Robinson has committed to the Eagles.

Robinson commits to Christian and the Eagles after making a visit to the Heights over the weekend.

Right now there's not a ton of information out there on the 6-foot-5 guard, as he's yet to come onto the radar of either Rivals or 247Sports. According to verbalcommits.com, Robinson claims offers from more than a dozen mid-majors including Richmond, Youngstown State, Western Carolina, FIU, Old Dominion and Appalachian State. Clemson and Rutgers were also in on Robinson's recruitment. phenomhoopreport.com ranks Robinson as the 6th best North Carolina prospect in the 2015 class.

The North Carolina native plays for Needham Broughton High School in Raleigh, where he'll be a senior this season. Watching some of his highlights, it looks like the late-bloomer will add some much needed athleticism to BC's roster.

Here are some highlights of Jerome:
