Jim Christian and the Boston College men's basketball coaching staff have been on a tear of late. This afternoon, the Eagles picked up their third 2015 commitment in the span of a week in SG/SF A.J. Turner, who took to Twitter to make the announcement.

The 6-foot-6, 185 pound SG/SF commits to the program while on an official visit to Boston College this weekend. Turner boasts an impressive offer sheet and chooses the Eagles over claimed offers from Creighton, Florida State, Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan State, Stanford, Providence and Princeton. Hailing from Warren, Michigan, Turner plays prep ball at the nearby New Hampton School in New Hampshire (the same school that Olivier Hanlan played at).
Turner is rated as a four-star recruit per ESPN and a three-star per Rivals, Scout and 247Sports. ESPN and 247Sports rank Turner as the fourth best recruit in the state of New Hampshire, while Rivals has Turner just on the outside of the top 100 in the 2015 class at 106.
First-year coach Jim Christian swung and missed on a few prospects early, but the program is starting to gain some real momentum on the recruiting trail with a huge pickup.
AJ Turner is the highest ranked recruit for BC since Craig Smith. The last Rivals150 recruit BC had was Rakim Sanders in 2007

Turner joins fellow three-star recruits SG Matt Milon and SG Jerome Robinson in the 2015 class.
