Blaudschun has since backed off his original story, posting an apology and correction over at ajerseyguy.com.
On Tuesday night, I heard the Eagles were closing in on Jim Christian.
I couldn't pin it down completely so I waited and put out more calls. On Wednesday morning, I woke up with a confirmation from a source. I went with the story.
I was wrong. I screwed up. BC is close, but close is not done. My bad. The deal with Christian still should get done, but until it is a closed issue, it isn't over.
