Boston College turned in a solid effort, but it wasn't enough to top #9/10 Louisville on Wednesday night. The Eagles fell to the Cardinals, 81-72, despite a game-high 28 points from Aaron Brown. Here are the videos to prove it.

The ACC Network's Tim Brant and Dan Bonner break down how a traditionally strong defensive squad like Louisville turned to its high-scoring guard duo of Chris Jones and Terry Rozier in the win.

After the game, Louisville coach Rick Pitino talks guard play, defending Boston College's skilled shooting attack and his new facial hair. He even had a few nice things to say about the Eagles.

Boston College is back on the road as it travels to Clemson on Saturday for a noon game. The Clemson Tigers are coming off a road victory over N.C. State, winning 68-57. Jordan Roper led the Tigers with 18 points while teammate Rod Hall scored 11 of his own.
