Congratulations to junior guard Olivier Hanlan, who was named to the 2015 Bob Cousy Award watch list, according to an announcement by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Tuesday. The Cousy Award, named after the Celtics great and former Eagles coach, has recognized the top men's college point guard every year since the award's inception in 2003-04.
Hanlan is the ACC's leading returning scorer, averaging 18.5 points per game as a sophomore. He earned All-ACC Third Team honors after finishing third in the conference in points, fourth in minutes, sixth in FT percentage and seventh in FG percentage.
From the ACC, Hanlan is joined by Quinn Cook (Duke), Tyus Jones (Duke), Terry Rozier (Louisville), Angel Rodriguez (Miami), Marcus Paige (North Carolina) and London Perrantes (Virginia) on the 36-player watch list.
