Congratulations to Boston College's Olivier Hanlan, named to the Wooden Award Preseason Top 50, according to an announcement of the Los Angeles Athletic Club. The award is given annually to the most outstanding men's basketball player in the country.
The list will be culled to 25 players in mid January and 20 in early February. A total of 15 players will be placed on the final ballot and submitted to voters prior to the NCAA Tournament.
From the ACC, Hanlan is joined by Malcolm Brogdon (Virginia), Jerian Grant (Notre Dame), Montrezl Harrell (Louisville), Tyus Jones (Duke), Jahlil Okafor (Duke), Marcus Paige (North Carolina) and Terry Rozier (Louisville) on the preseason top 50.
