The 2014 ACC media day is next Wednesday and Dennis Clifford and Olivier Hanlan will represent the Eagles down in Charlotte, N.C.
Last season, Boston College sent Ryan Anderson and Hanlan to media day. This will be Clifford's third year representing the program, having made the trip in both 2011 and 2012.
Coaches and/or SIDs select the players that will attend media day, many times choosing seniors to represent the program. BC hasn't had that luxury over the past few seasons and, despite now having five scholarship seniors on the roster, opted instead to send a pair of juniors to this year's media day (Clifford is classified as a junior this year after missing all but two games last year due to injury). Heckmann previously represented BC as a true freshman in 2011.
