The program slipped this into the open practice announcement, but fans can get their first look at the new-look Boston College men's basketball team on Thursday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. as the Eagles host Division II American International at Conte Forum. Admission is free.
Last season, AIC finished the year with a 9-19 record overall, 6-14 in the Northeast-10 Conference. The Yellow Jackets will face UMass in an exhibition game at the Mullins Center one week earlier on October 30.
Programs are allowed to host up to two public exhibition games before the season begins, though many opt instead to hold "super (not so) secret" scrimmages against other programs. Over the last few seasons, BC has eschewed going the free exhibition game route, opting instead to start the year off with a scrimmage against another school.
Boston College's last public exhibition game was against these same AIC Yellow Jackets to start the 2011-12 season. BC won 70-66 behind a combined 33 points from then freshmen Dennis Clifford and Patrick Heckmann.
