Game Day Info

First Pitch: Approximately 6 PM
Venue: Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field, Oxford, Mississippi (Capacity: 10,323)

Winner's bracket games get top billing on the tournament's second day regardless of who's the host site. By beating Tulane, 7-2, the Eagles advanced into the 6 PM game, where they'll take on Utah. Meanwhile, we get the #1-vs-#2 seeded game that was expected, but it's an elimination game between Ole Miss and Tulane.

The loser of today's BC game will take on the winner of the elimination game tomorrow afternoon, with the winner of that game to play the winner of the winner's bracket game later in the day. So this game takes on a huge complexion if the Eagles want to avoid playing a doubleheader tomorrow.

The start time of today's game is scheduled for 6 PM, but it's entirely possible that could be moved due to weather or if the early game goes long into extra innings. Remember that the Second Round is where Boston College, in 2009, played Texas in the 25-inning extravaganza.

How to Watch & Listen

TV: None
Internet Streaming: Available via ESPN3
Live Stats: Available by clicking here

The Boston College athletics website says that this game is available on SEC Network Plus, but since the SEC Network is available in so few markets, it's probably a best bet to watch this game on ESPN3. Also, I stand by the chance that this game isn't actually carried on SEC+.

Correction: The game will not be televised on SEC+. It will only be available on ESPN3. The above information has been corrected (DR).
