Excitement Level:

Big Papi

There is no question that Boston College fans are feeling incredibly confident right now, and there's a good reason for it. BC was handed a berth in what was considered by many as the toughest regional in the nation, and they ran through it with a three-game sweep. The Eagles dominated at times, and they are playing with one of the biggest chips anyone can possibly have on their shoulder.

It's not too often you get a chance to swagger into a place like Miami, but that's what BC fans are doing. The team is prepared, and they're ready to go. The fans are confident that any team can go head-to-head with anybody and win. There's a healthy respect for how good Miami really is, but our not-so-well-kept secret rolls in.

Miami fans might not believe, but that's the goal of Game 1. Make them believe.

Tale of the Tape (entering weekend):
Batting Average: BC .265, Miami .297
