Boston College returns to South Bend for the first time since they played in the Big East. Two years ago, when Notre Dame hosted the Eagles in an ACC matchup, it took place at Chicago State with Eck Stadium undergoing renvoations. We'll have more details about this later today.

The Eagles return to the ESPN family of networks for the Holy War. All three games will be televised via ESPN3, available through your Internet Browser or the Watch ESPN app on your mobile device (or AppleTV or whatever you use at home).
It's important to note that Saturday's game is designated as the ALS Game to benefit the Pete Frates #3 Fund. Notre Dame head coach Mik Aoki coached Pete Frates during his senior year in 2007, while Mike Gambino helped recruit and coach Pete during the Pete Hughes era at Boston College.
