Johnny Adams, Harwich Mariners (Cape Cod Baseball League)
After being named to the Eastern Division All Stars, Adams continued to perform, notching base hits in five of his last six games and seven of his last nine. Last week, Adams went 4-for-11 with two runs scored. Against Orleans on Thursday, he went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and a stolen base. His average, which was as low as .183 to start the month, is now up to .248 with a .385 slugging percentage.
Logan Hoggarth, Woodstock River Bandits (Valley Baseball League)
Hoggarth was an all star for the North Division, going 0-for-2 in the showcase event. Through this week, he's hitting .294 for the River Bandits, having recorded hits in six of his last seven games. He went 1-for-4 against the Front Royal Cardinals, a week after he went 2-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBI against the same franchise. He has eight RBI on the season with 17 runs scored, 32 hits, and four doubles.
Daniel Metzdorf, North Shore Navigators (Futures Collegiate Baseball League)
Metzdorf threw an inning to pick up the win in a 2-1 victory over the Worcester Bravehearts on Thursday, walking one and striking out two. He's now 1-1 on the season with 13 appearances, two of which are starts. He holds a 3.47 ERA with 26 strikeouts and 19 walks. He's allowed only 14 hits this season while picking up two saves.
