For the third straight year, the Boston College Eagles will don special edition uniforms and honor our nation's veterans as part of a baseball game. Facing off against Clemson this weekend, the team will wear special edition camoflage uniforms on Saturday for their 1:30 PM game against the Tigers.

Boston College will auction off the remainder of last year's American Flag-themed Freedom jerseys with proceeds donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Bidding begins on Friday and continued until April 24th.

As part of the weekend, local military vets will play in a softball game on Thursday against the Boston College baseball team on Shea Field. Additionally, United States Army veteran Jason Braase will speak to the community at 2:30 PM in the Yawkey Center. The events are open to the public and fans are encouraged to attend. The softball game is scheduled to begin at 3:30. Following the game, participants will prepare essential care packs for wounded veterans.

These packs will be delivered by Boston College alumni to the Walter Reed Medical Center during an annual visit at the close of April.

Pictured below are the uniforms the Eagles will wear. As you can see, they are pretty sharp looking and will sufficiently honor our fighting men and women.
