By only winning one of three games this weekend over Notre Dame, Birdball blew a huge opportunity to jump back into this year's ACC Baseball Championship picture. As it stands, Boston College is now in dead last in the conference -- 4.5 games back of 10th place Maryland, and five in the loss column, for the last spot in this year's ACC Baseball Championship with 12 games to play.
Though the schedule lightens considerably down the stretch, it's looking increasingly likely that the Eagles will miss the ACC Baseball Championship for the fourth straight year -- all under Coach Gambino. At which point, you have to think Brad Bates makes a coaching change in the offseason. Know any good MAC baseball coaches?
