College Football Bowl Names, Simplified

What is an AdvoCare V100 anyway?

By now, you've heard that Boston College football is headed to something called the AdvoCare V100 Bowl to play Arizona on New Year's Eve. You've probably also wondered what an AdvoCare V100 is (it's a multivitamin tropical chew). Unofficially you'll hear people call this game the Independence Bowl -- the bowl's name prior to this season -- so named because the inaugural game was played in the United States' bicentennial year of 1976.

I don't know about you, but I yearn for the days of simple, non-corporate sponsored bowl games. Games named after commodities, the host city, a once dominant video and movie rental chain or popular brand of weed-eater.

The below attempts to simplify this year's 35 bowl game names. Leave your own alternate names for this year's 35 bowl games below.
