Football season is less than a month away, and that means the return of Steve Addazio and his band of dudes. But we're also just two weeks away from the return of the BCI Radio Program, brought to you by FanDuel!
We have a couple of great shows already lining up. AJ Black will join Dan Rubin for the first show of 2014, looking back on the busy offseason and looking ahead to the new season. They'll be looking at the depth chart and some of the key positions, highlighting some of the major changes to the Eagles as they look to return to a bowl game for the second straight season. They'll also be looking at the 2014 schedule, the potential trap games, and the paper matchups as the season gets started.
That leads up to the August 26th show of all shows! It's finally time to talk real football previews, as we begin looking week-to-week at the upcoming opponent. It starts with the Massachusetts Minutemen in a game being played at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. Operating in the shadows of the New England Patriots' Super Bowl banners, we talk about what the Eagles need to do to put UMass away and pick up their first win of the season. We'll also have Matt Vautour from the Hampshire Gazette on as a guest, talking about the Minutemen's jump to FBS and the matchup with BC from the perspective of the "other part" of the state.
As always, we'll be taking YOUR phone calls. We'll be doing individual posts of each broadcast on show day with a link to the broadcast. We'll also have on demand web streaming of the podcast after the show is complete. And we'll be taking your calls LIVE on air if you want to have your voice heard. Got a question? Want to talk? All shows will start at 8 PM each Tuesday as we look back each week at the previous game and look ahead to the next opponent.
As a special treat this year, our show will be presented by FanDuel! FanDuel is one of the largest Daily Fantasy Sports websites, hosting an average of 600,000 lineups each week in their daily games. Planning to hand out over $400 million in prizes this year, it's consistently ranked among some of the best social games networks in the world.
So tune in each Tuesday as we present Pardon the BC Interruption starting at 8 PM!
