Just days away from the opening kickoff of the 2014 college football season, BCI Radio is back to talk about Saturday's matchup with Massachusetts. There's a lot of unknowns heading into the season, and we'll try to size up the game between the Eagles and the Minutemen ahead of their 3 PM confrontation.
Dan and AJ will be joined this week by Matt Vautour of the Hampshire Gazette to talk about the Minutemen and their program, their struggles, and their on-field breakdown. We'll be discussing the view of BC from the other side in anticipation of the first game, and we'll look at the game from an attendance standpoint based on the conflicting views of how many fans will actually be in attendance.
From an Eagles perspective, be sure to tune in and weigh in with thoughts about the offense in the wake of the preseason camp. Talk about who might be breaking out, who's poised to come out of the gates fast, and what we can expect from Game #1. It's a long season and a long grind, so what could we be looking for with BC playing seven of its first eight games in Massachusetts.
Our hosts will also throw some schadenfreude and fan the flames one last time for those Western Mass. supporters tuned in. Hopefully they have a sense of humor about it, but judging from our previous posts, that might not be true.
Be sure to call into the show at 646-200-0446 to talk football with kickoff just days away!!
