With the end of March closing in, it's time for us to take a look at how we're going to bring your spring season to a close in a big way. For that reason, we've already got three great shows lined up over the next few weeks to bring you some of the best and biggest discussion about Boston College athletics to date.
April 1, 8 PM
AJ Black rejoins us on the air as we discuss Spring Football. The Jay McGillis Spring Game is coming up on Saturday, which means it's time to review the Boston College football season. Hard to believe that we're just a few short months removed from an exciting run to bowl eligibility with Heisman Trophy finalist Andre Williams, right?
Well we'll talk about the upcoming season and the opponents on the schedule, and, most importantly, we'll talk about who's making moves and what we might see out of the Eagles this fall. You'll be able to discuss the offense, defense, special teams... whatever you want about what you'd like to see this football season.
We'll also check in with the basketball coaching search to see what names you need to be aware of since the firing of Steve Donahue, and we'll talk with a couple of analysts about how other schools' firings and commitments are shaping the search.
April 8, 8 PM
Boston College is BACK in the Frozen Four. In an even numbered year, we'll have our resident puckheads on air to go back over the matchups and profile each of the four teams as Boston College gets ready for the Union Dutchmen in Philadelphia. What can we expect from the crowd? And how hard will it be for BC to win their final two games and hoist a trophy for the fourth time in the last seven years.
We'll also talk about the impact of this team on the Boston College history books, as their 24th Frozen Four appearance matches Michigan for most all-time out of any program. It's a historic final four - with Minnesota and North Dakota, there will be something of a traditional feel to it. So join us and get ready for the games as we kick off Frozen Four week with Grant and Joe!
April 15, 8 PM
Mike Sheehan, the latest addition to the BC Interruption staff, joins us on Tax Day to talk the business of BC athletics in a show we're referring to as "BCNBC." It's going to be a new hot sports take, as we go inside the numbers and talk about the feasibility of what BC can and can't do from a marketing and business perspective. As we roll down the last days of Brad Bates' first full year as athletic director, we'll look as a retrospective at his successes and failures. We'll also open the door for some of the things that you'd like to see as a fan moving forward.
