With Duke's victory over Carolina tonight, the Blue Devils are now locked into the ACC Tournament's no. 3 seed. While Duke and UNC finish the regular season with identical 13-5 records, since the season series is tied 1-1, Duke wins the tie-breaker with their victory over Virginia.
Syracuse takes the no. 2 seed regardless of what happens tomorrow against Florida State. With a win, the Orange would take the no. 2 seed outright. A loss vs. FSU would put the Orange in a three-way tie with Duke and Carolina. Syracuse wins the three-way tiebreaker by virtue of its 2-1 record vs. the other tied teams. Duke would grab the no. 3 seed with a 2-2 record vs. the tied teams, while North Carolina's 1-2 record places the Heels fourth.
Heading into Sunday, the top six seeds of the ACC Tournament are now decided, as are seeds 10 through 15. All that's left to decide is 7, 8 and 9.

Not that I'm expecting BC to make it to Friday, but let's say that they do. The Eagles draw arguably the worst matchup of the teams receiving a double bye. The BC-Duke game earlier this year was one of the few blowouts for the Eagles in ACC play. The Blue Devils are just a matchup nightmare for Boston College.
Now, having said that, BC is 0-3 vs. the teams standing in the way of a semifinals matchup with Duke. Georgia Tech is a decent draw as is Clemson. But do you trust this team to win multiple games next week? Because I don't.
It'll all be over soon ...
