Presumably this means that Boston College has reached a deal with New Mexico State and found a suitable FBS replacement team for the Aggies (rumored to be fellow Sun Belt outfit Georgia State).
According to fbschedules.com, 10 FBS programs are still looking for a game in 2015: Air Force, Ball State, FIU, Rice, San Diego State, SMU, UCF, UL Lafayette, UNLV and Western Michigan. In addition, Fresno State and San Jose State could elect to play a 13th regular season game since both schools will play at Hawaii this coming season.
We already know that BC will face FCS Maine on September 5, Northern Illinois on September 26 and travel to Fenway Park to take on Notre Dame on November 21. The Eagles will host Florida State, N.C. State, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest at home in conference play, and travel to Clemson, Duke, Louisville and Syracuse.
