Boston College needs a new head football coach

In my opinion, BC needs a new football coach. Jeff Hafley is nice guy who analyzes football well, but is not a leader. He strength has been coaching defensive backs, both at the pro level with several NFL teams and at the college level.

I have watched Hafley coach for over 3 years now and he's very much congratulating players when they do something well, but I have not seen him confront and sternly talk to a player right after making a bad play or who took a stupid penalty. In fact, from what I've seen, both at the games I've attended and watching from home, he just doesn't do it.

Both Coughlin and O'Brien would go right to the player as soon as he came off the field and confront him and talk sternly. Has anybody ever seen Hafley do this?

Also, I have watched 2 or 3 pre-season interviews where Hafley has repeated again and again, all the problems from last year and how the first year really wasn't a regular season....???? Again, in my opinion, he comes across as a whiner.

Thank you.
