Running Back Treshaun Ward to Transfer to Boston College

On Wednesday evening, Kansas State running back Treshaun Ward announced his intentions to transfer to Boston College for his sixth and final year of eligibility.

Ward played at Florida State for four seasons before joining the Wildcats last season, where he put up some solid numbers. Ward has rushed for 500+ yards in each of his last three seasons and has scored 7 touchdowns in each of the last two. He’s a threat both on the ground and through the air and has been very efficient in both aspects of his game, averaging 5.2 yards per rush last season and 7.6 yards per reception. He was a 3-star recruit out of high school from Tampa, FL and has put together a very solid college career that he is looking to finish off at BC.

It’s a good addition for Boston College, who was hurting at the position towards the end of last season when any given week could’ve seen either Pat Garwo III or Kye Robichaux out with injury. With Garwo on his way out, Ward will fit in nicely with Robichaux as an efficient 1-2 punch in a Boston College running game that is getting a lot better. Alongside QB Thomas Castellanos, the BC backfield is sure to put up some numbers in 2024.

Welcome to the Heights, Treshaun!
