Name: Jack McBain

Position: Forward

Year: Senior

Number: #11

Height: 6’4

Hometown: Toronto, Ontario

Previous Stats: Last season, McBain was tied for third on the team in scoring, totaling 19 points (6g, 13a) in 24 games. He had five multi-point games last year, scoring two goals in the home opener against UMass. Prior to last season, McBain had 21 points his sophomore year and 13 points his freshman year. Additionally, he was named assistant captain this past season.

Season Outlook: McBain was largely on the second line last year, and I would imagine that he stays in that role this season as he looks to contribute even more offensively. I could even see him moving up to the top line, depending on how the rest of the roster shakes out. While he had a great season last year, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him have a better one this year with a more normal experience and more consistency.

Drafted: 63rd overall (3rd round) by the Minnesota Wild in 2018

Fun Fact: His father played in the NHL for 11 years.
