Previous Stats: Posma split his time last season between the Tri-City Storm and the Omaha Lancers, both of the USHL. He scored three points in his seven games with the Storm before putting up a line of 13-13-26 in his 36 games with the Lancers.
Season Outlook: Just like some of the other freshman, Posma should have a shot to earn a spot in the lineup early on. He’s got a bit of a scoring touch and he could be a part of BC’s bottom six forward group. There’s some competition there, however, so it may come down to how quickly he can adjust to the college game.
Fun Fact: Mike comes from a family of hockey players, as his father played for Plattsburgh State and his uncle played a number of seasons in the Swiss Pro League. His younger brother, David, has committed to play for Niagara starting in2022.
