Name: Nikita Nesterenko

Position: Forward

Year: Sophomore

Number: #13

Height: 6’2

Hometown: Brooklyn, NY

Previous Stats: Nesterenko was the standout of BC’s freshman class last season. He led all freshmen (and was tied for third on the team) with 19 points, and was third on the team with 8 goals. He was named the Hockey East Co-Rookie of the Year.
Prior to BC, he spent a season with the Chilliwack Chiefs in the BCHL. He scored 56 points in 56 regular season games for Chilliwack, and led the team in points, goals (20), and assists (36).

Season Outlook: I would expect Nesterenko to be a major force on offense this season. He sees the ice well and can set up plays for himself and for his teammates, and he has enough size to keep opponents from taking him out. He stuck out as a fun player to watch last season, and is the type of player that can really build off of his successes to improve each season.

Drafted: 172nd overall (6th round) by the Minnesota Wild in 2019.

Fun Fact: His parents are Russian immigrants.
