The “regular season” opener is here tomorrow and anticipation is rising. Let’s get ready for a weekend of action and take a look at some games to keep an eye on, especially from a BC perspective:

Tonight

7 PM: Wake Forest @ Virginia - ESPN2

The ACC slate kicks off with an intriguing Friday night game, as Wake Forest, off to a solid start, travels to UVA. Divisional implications here, as well as a look at Wake, a future BC opponent.

8 PM: Liberty @ Syracuse - ACC Network

Regardless of whether you’re ‘team go ACC’ or ‘team watch rival programs get wrecked’ you’ll have something to root for in this one.

Saturday

12 PM: Missouri @ Boston College, ESPN2

Obviously.

12 PM: #12 Notre Dame vs. #18 Wisconsin, FOX

You should be at Alumni Stadium tomorrow at noon, but if you’re watching from home, this is the nooner to flip over to - probably the biggest and most compelling game of the day.

3:30 PM: Colorado State @ #5 Iowa, FS1

It’s the Dazzler against one of the top 5 teams in the country... crack the rock!

3:30 PM: #9 Clemson @ NC State, ESPN

This is probably the most interesting scoreboard-watching opportunity for BC fans as this game features the Eagles’ next two opponents.

7:30 PM: #21 UNC @ Georgia Tech, ACC Network

The Eagles travel to Georgia Tech this year for the first time in approximately 30 years (give or take) and it’ll be worth keeping an eye on them after they pushed Clemson last week.

7:30 PM: West Virginia @ #4 Oklahoma, ABC

Once again, the primetime slate is kind of meh this week with a lot more attention on the early afternoon games. This is probably the pick of the night games.
