Name: Casey Carreau
Position: Forward
Year: Senior
Number: #22
Height: 5’9
Hometown: Acushnet, MA
Previous Stats: Carreau had a surprising season last year after many expected him to spend a lot of game on the bench. He played in 23 games and scored 8 points, including 5 goals, 1 of which was a game-winner against Northeastern.
Prior to BC, he attended Thayer Academy, where he was captain his senior year. He also played for the Cape Cod Whalers organization.
Season Outlook: With a handful of graduate transfer forwards joining the team, Carreau might have to fight a bit more for playing time. However, he did show himself to be a clutch player who isn’t afraid to take shots, so how much playing time he gets is really going to come down to how quickly the freshmen and transfers adjust to BC and how he himself performs in practice.
Fun Fact: Carreau played for BC from 2017-18, left the team to play for the Des Moines Buccaneers and Boston Jr. Bruins the following season, and then returned to the Eagles roster.
