Name: Patrick Giles
Position: Forward
Year: Senior
Number: #24
Height: 6’5”
Hometown: Chevy Chase, MD
Previous Stats: Giles played in 24 games for the Eagles last season, putting up three goals and nine assists for a half a point per game total. His 12 points were a career high with BC. Interestingly, Giles had four multi point games in the 2020-21 season, and only three games where he registered a single point. He also had a career high three assists in an early season win over Providence. Giles served as an alternate captain last season and will likely do so again in 2021-22.
Season Outlook: Giles will continue to be an important member of BC’s forward group, likely playing a role in the middle six. Giles also logs a ton of minutes on the penalty kill, and has been generally very solid playing next to classmate and captain Marc McLaughlin. It would be nice to see him bump those point totals up a bit, but Giles chips in in a lot of areas even when he’s not scoring all that much.
Fun Fact: Patrick’s father played football for the University of Delaware.
