Name: Liam Izyk

Position: Forward

Year: Junior

Number: #26

Height: 6’1

Hometown: Blackie, Alberta

Previous Stats: Due to injury early last year, Izyk hasn’t had the chance to skate consistently for the Eagles — he appeared in a total of four games last year, landing two shots on goal. Prior to transferring to BC last year, Izyk played at Alabama Huntsville where he scored 11 points in 32 games, good for fifth on the team.

Season Outlook: In the games Izyk played last year, he was usually on the fourth line. I would imagine that he’d likely play the same role, but wouldn’t be surprised if he was moved up to the third line or given a more elevated role due to his prior NCAA experience. With the entire top line from last year signing NHL contracts and a smattering of rising sophomores transferring to different schools, it would make sense for him to potentially have a bigger role in the lineup.

Fun Fact: He grew up on a farm!
