Sad news today out of Florida, as BC great Hunter Long was carted off the field during practice. The rookie tight end was shoved out of bounds during 11-on-11 when he suffered a left leg injury after catching a pass from Jacoby Brissett on a two minute drill.
Long not putting any weight on left leg as he’s helped to cart and taken off the field. https://t.co/1EB9gzQdZm

We’ll update once we hear further information regarding the injury. Reports so far indicate it is a left knee injury. Long was selected in the third round with the 81st pick of the NFL Draft and showed entering a solid tight end room. Although camp had just picked up, it hadn’t taken the former Eagle very long to turn some heads.

Here’s hoping for the best for Hunter. We know he’ll be back better than ever.
