Jerry York and the Boston College men’s hockey staff have shown no signs of slowing down on the recruiting trail, this week landing the highly sought-after commitment of 2005 birth year forward Will Vote, as reported by New England Hockey Journal.

Vote is an Arlington, MA native who is currently at Dexter Southfield, but will be heading to the US National Team Development Program for the next two years before a scheduled arrival at BC in the fall of 2023.

According to NEHJ, the other finalists for Vote’s commitment were Harvard and Michigan.

Neutral Zone rates vote a 4.25-star recruit and the #13 ranked recruit in his class nationally, as well as the #3 ranked player in Massachusetts.

He joins what is shaping up to be a highly regarded incoming class of 2023 for BC, with four of the nation’s top 20-rated recruits all committed - Vote, Drew Fortescue, Aram Minnetian, and Ryan Leonard. All have been or will be part of the national team setup.
